Infusion
Perparation: Dry the Canelo leaves and afterwards tear them into pieces. Boil up water, then pour it over the leaves and allow them to steep in the water for about 10 minutes. The liquid may then be strained or the herbs otherwise removed from the liquid, creating an infusion. Unless the infusion is to be consumed immediately, it may then be bottled and refrigerated for future use.
Taste and Smell
Spicy and taste similar to cinnomon.
